Hmm... Yes, patience is DEFINITELY required... (and a sense of
humour). We must definitely give up being "clueless"... but it's quite okay
to imagine (good things, of course). ;) I can definitely imagine Linux
working okay with these "Winmodems"... Should work okay. Just greedy
capitalists trying to cut costs etc. Rascals! So, we have the toilet here
designed specially for them. ;)

For one moment I had visions of you trying to plug the loo into the

What does or doesn't happen? Imagine you're describing it to someone who
