        Thanks for the feedback. Finger's crossed... ;) Just requires
figuring/configuring the hardware. Seems some people are just very greedy
and uncooperative... :( Their problem. Greed is NEVER good. :$ Hoping this
all gets resolved, nicely... :)

I had similar problems with an AC'97 modem on my laptop.  There are to
them trivial differences (to them) to this modem which means that some
will work under Linux, others will not.  I have the second.
