What you're saying is that most Xerox printers don't have a built-in PS interpreter. And at a guess[1], most that are advertised as "PS capable" ship with some soft stuff that only works on Billyware. However, are there any printers on the market which don't do PCL? These are trivial to install with yast or any other $distro worth mentioning.
