LG6167. The LG6163 was tested tops about 6 months ago, IIRC. It can also do DVD-RAM, which is a guaranteed reliable (builtin verify) archival format which you can treat as a read/write hard disk, though the latter is now done by Linux on DVD+RW as well. Personally I'm not getting Pioneer again, they don't provide firmware upgrades for long enough so you can't burn newer media. Anyway, Pioneer 108 and 109 were unconvincing in the test. Sony at least used to have a rubbish media compatibility, and they're expensive. BTC doesn't sound convincing to me, it'll be OEMed anyway. The LG is cheap at $100.
