We have all got equipment which has varying degrees of value. Those of us who are successfully self-employed have a lot more items of value than those of us who are into Linux just as a hobby. Stupidly, I published my street and e-mail addresses on the web some years ago and had my mail box at the end of the path stuffed with all sorts of 'printed matter', and my e-mail box regularly overflowed. I also discovered that a few electronic odds and ends mysteriously disappeared. It's not the list members, it's the fact that the list is archived in a number of completely open-to-all places which is the worry. -- CS
