Well I thought I would try to configure the modem myself and copied the files I thought I needed to my pen drive.
You guessed it the pen drive is not supported. So I am back to square one as although the Windows drive is mounted in Linux I can not surf it to get to the files I want. Can someone tell me what files to download so the pen drive is recognized (it is A-DATA 512MB USB 2.0 Pen Drive) and what I will do is download the files to a folder on my desk top and bring the machine in to the next meeting.
