IMHO the best way to go cordless at the moment is to use an ATA (Analog Telephone Adaptor[1]) and a normal cordless telephone. This will give you the best reliability and range. There are 802.11 wireless SIP phones available but they are a) expensive and b) still a newish technology. The most common ATAs for a single phone are the Linksys/Sipura[2] SPA-1001 and the Grandstream HT-286 both of these run somewhere around $130. hads [1]http://astug.org.nz/wiki/ATA [2]Linksys purchased Sipura and are still changing the branding on the gear. -- "Serkin was so sick he almost died for three days." --- Eugene Ormandy
