Ok it’s a crock of shit and 99% of people would know that.

Thing is if he had written how hard Linux is to install and configure I
would have agreed with him.

Would anyone know or consider setting up either a fee paying phone help desk
or a class for new users fee paying of course.

I think the help offered on here might be done in the best intention but I
have found that most (though not all ) users on here are so technically
minded and have been using linux for so long that they do not speak in
simple terms.

I think most new users would pay a reasonable price for class based help
which is far better than reading a book.

A phone help line could talk people through the problems in a lot better way
then email and I believe most people would be prepared to pay for this.

Thoughts please........
