You don't really need tools to do that - just the correct entries in 
/etc/init.d/network for the gateway, and the relevant lan setup ( varies with 
distro - debian/ubuntu is /etc/netword/interfaces, redhat+clones is probably 
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 )
