There are about 250 people subscribed, very approx 12 have replied wanting to meet Microsoft on our turf, therefore roughly 95% of the list membership really could not give a tinkers one way or another. > Nothing of Chris's tally method has been "ruined", therefore. It has actually. I had the replies being counted via an e-mail filter. Spurious postings have ruined the accuracy of the count unless I waste time and fiddle about trying to decide whether the posting means that the poster is going to actually turn up, and deleting spurious postings. I am not going to expect Microsoft, or any other entity which might want to expound on their pet subject for that matter, to come and address an audience of only a dozen or so. So if you want to come to a Microsoft pep talk please make a firm booking on your part by replying to this thread _WITH AN EMPTY POSTING_. Rants will be deleted and will not count. I will indicate we are interested in hearing them speak as soon as I have 30 members wanting to come, and I will tell them the numbers so they can make up their own minds whether it's worth their while.
