Hmmm. Could be tricky.

I am using "MySlax" to create (and recreate) the system.  I'm using a
windoze version (not sure if there is a linux version) and it calls
the windoze format command, so I'm formating the stick as fat32 (is
that the same as vfat?).  It would be helpful to keep this format so
that I can still put windoze files on the stick (file transfers btw m$
and slax and btw machines).

I have still to test the theory that it's the config save program
causing the problem.  If my work around for that works then I'll keep
the fat32 format, otherwise I'll look for a linux version of myslax so
I can use ext3.
