*note funky replying* I was reading through the archives today, looking to find the next meeting, When I stumbled across Rob's post.
I originally subscribed to the list a "LONG" time ago, when I was a mere 11 or 13. After attending an installfest with a mere 686 with 64mb of ram. Turned away after numerous attempts at distros just to learn that the system simply wasn't good enough.Little did I know that this was the mere start to my Linux journey. I found CLUG a very, very open and interesting resource and I am 100% sure that without it I would not be where I am today. Sadly, I feel that CLUG, has lost its way and has turned into a bit of a 'troll' fest. I have not seen in the last 6months any serious technical discussion, but more political conversation. So a few months ago I unsubscribed, I also know of quite the number of people that have unsubscribed too due to the lack of indepth discussion. I hope that CLUG can return to its former glory. Thanks, Ben
