then can we as a group agree that SVG is a good choice (being open standards based) but using a proritory engine is bad? And perhaps agreed then we as individuals (remeber there is no CLUG <wink>) who are concerned contact Ecan and CCC folk responsible with a sample (something that does work via a number of different web browsers). With said sample it can be shown that a solution using SVG and another engine other than Adobe can work on a wider set of browsers and OSes than Windows and MS browsers. This can then be submitted to the developers and they can grumble and squirm about having to rewrite their code. dave.
