Oh and if meetings are not paying their way, we need to make them do so by
one or more of the following:

1. increase attendance, which at approx 25 of per month is pathetic. Where
are you linux supporters? What would get you to a meeting? Frankly I can't
be bothered much with preparing talks for a minimal audience, it is not
inspiring. And so it becomes a downward spiral.

2. reduce costs. I know Aucklug has the free use of premises and equipment
from a linux company. No cost. Maybe we need to reassess costs if we
cannot do (1). Do we need to buy bickies? I thought we were taking
donations for bickies - ie people can buy a packet of bickies and put them
in the pot.

3. Increase charges and/or collect it ALL. Hands up anyone who has paid $2
each and every time. I can't (I try to make it up next time, but hey it
doesn't always happen).

4. Get sponsorship.
