That's a significant investment in advertising.  I hate to sound all
businesslike, but what was the return on that investment?

I certainly don't see an investment of any amount that has been
suggested as providing any significant return for CLUG.

If you look at the takings for the October meeting for the last few
years (the first meetings following SFD) they were very low.

Maybe there is a return on that investment somewhere else that I don't
know about, but so far, CLUG hasn't benefited from it.

Maybe there is a better (and probably cheaper) way of getting the word
out than advertising in the press.  Hands up who takes any notice of
the small adds in the Press.

I know we are not in this for the money, but there must be better uses
for this money than donating it to the Press.
