I could use a few scientific distros. I'm wondering what it would take to get
some moderately well-heeled individual to finance a PS2 or PS3 Beowulf,

to undertake such mundane matters as data mining for smaller businesses,
clarifying when - exactly when - the next big power shortage/blowout is going
to be, playing silly-buggers with history and geography for a film I'm
wanting to write (what precisely would a French South Island look like, if
Akaroa was the major South Island city and Christchurch an almost-ran a la
Akaroa is in this timeline? :), etc, ad infinitum ... dreams are free, about
the only things that are these days ... ;)

And a good solid science toolbox is rather important for even dreaming ... ;)

Oh, yes, I was forgetting, a good toolbox of multimedia tools ...
