I made a new thread, to avoid getting too off-topic on the previous one.
I discovered the list through a Google search for "linux user group
christchurch", I believe. About attracting new members: what about some
flyers/posters around the computer science building in the Uni? The cost
is nil (I think) and it would probably address a lot of potential
members.
