I guess that didn't work out. At least my mail prog shows three different topics in this thread.

I discovered the list through a Google search for "linux user group
christchurch", I believe. About attracting new members: what about some flyers/posters around the computer science building in the Uni? The cost
is nil (I think) and it would probably address a lot of potential
members.

There are clubs/societies at the Uni, I am interested in setting up a club related to free software for next semester... any support? :)

See if you can get an item on CTV, as they reach a lot of local people, and are always looking for local "social" news
