There are clubs/societies at the Uni, I am interested in setting up a club related to free software for next semester... any support? :)I discovered the list through a Google search for "linux user groupchristchurch", I believe. About attracting new members: what about some flyers/posters around the computer science building in the Uni? The costis nil (I think) and it would probably address a lot of potential members.
See if you can get an item on CTV, as they reach a lot of local people, and are always looking for local "social" newscheers KT
