Have you considered woosh? Linux friendly, just make sure they give you
the ethernet based "modem" and certainly not the pcmcia one.
Dependent on coverage in your area of course.
Last I looked neither Woosh nor cable came my way. Sigh!
Ah well, XNet contacted me fairly promptly and signed me
up. Apparently they are very very busy these last few days...
I suspect the trade press, as usual, is missing an important story,
(major ISP fault line continuously overloaded for over a week and
shedding market share like a dog with mange)
If it's not in a company press release... it can't be happening. :-(
