No, It's almost certainly cheaper to consolidate the infrastructure for all of Australasia in one place. After all NZ is just a zit on the nether cheek of the world, and issues like reliability of service, national sovereignty, and enhancement of the national work-force, etc. etc., matter not one jot to an overseas incorporated company. All they are interested in is the state or their share value, and that means they strive for an increase of the revenue quarter by quarter. Nothing else matters to them. Free Market in action.
