I guess that either means you are not running a web server Rik, or if
you are it is not properly set up.

Of course it is windows, thats what the W in WAMP stands for. Just the
L in LAMP stands for Linux.

This is OT for the list, except that the A, M and P of [w.l]amp are
familiar to many linux users.

Davin, are you sure all the services are running? Mine never seem to
start by themselves on my windows box at work (I am running mediawiki
as an experimental knowledge base for the office).

windows has a netstat commandline program, see if the services are
running, apache on 80 and mysql on 3306.
