Good for you. The problem is that eD really was one of the "Best of All Times" distros. There ARE those who are using it still, albeit on upgraded software components and kernels. But really, newer version for new hardware will give you a much better experience. And I'm sure you'll find more help from us for newer versions since we'll be working with the newer stuff as well. And if you have the commercial software which comes with purchased software, it SHOULD install and work on the newer distro as well. Let us know the results.
