I use grub, but I didn't let RH7.3 install load the MBR. If you could mount the RH 7.3 partition(s), you could try doing LILO, but I bet the RAID setup is the problem. Try moving /boot to a non-RAID drive. I installed on IDE disks and a uni-processor, and nary a problem.
