Hi!
Have a look at LinNeighborhood. I use version 0.4.0 on my notebook
(eDesktop 2.4). It's similar to Windoze Network Neighborhood. It even
let any user mount shares (but it requieres smbmount/smbumount to be
SUID root). I haven't tried version 0.6.3 but the old version 0.4.0
works ;)
PS: I've just installed version 0.6.3 on eDesktop 2.4 and it still
works :)
