Yes, I need to read more carefully before diving in, but luckily I have
been able to let this slide from my thoughts now (last night was a
different story however). Cool the way there are multiple solutions - I
like your next answer (the 'Hofstadteresque' one - had to google to work
out what that meant) as more elegant in that it requires fewer commands.
