Ryan, I live 5 minutes from Rangiora, and would be keen to help man a stand or assist with setup, documentation etc. Regrettably, I have a day job that sees me spend far too much time out of town, but contact me off list and see if we can work out a way for me to be involved. I have a bit of gear I could lend as well.
My level of technical expertise: long time user of several distros - mainly Ubuntu, MythTV user, generally what I would consider to be an enthusiastic amateur, as opposed to a technical expert.... As for timing... if you could prevail upon the Council to comply, Sunday morning might be good - lots of activity around the library, which is next to the local farmers' market. - David On Mon, Aug 22, 2011 at 7:52 PM, Ryan McCoskrie <[email protected]>wrote: > On Tue, 16 Aug 2011 15:58:41 Rik Tindall wrote: > > On 09/08/11 15:04, Ryan McCoskrie wrote: > > > On Tue, 09 Aug 2011 14:55:26 Rik Tindall wrote: > > >> Link-notes re 17 Sept SFD11 event to share with FOSS friends: > > >> > > >> http://bethere.co.nz/community/2011/2809-software-freedom-day-09 > > >> > > >> > http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/2011/NewZealand/Christchurch/SouthLib > > >> rary > > >> > > >> http://www.infohelp.co.nz/sfd11.html > > > > > > Is anyone else on the list wanting to do something a little further > > > North?
