Probably your sample size was too small. I experienced a range of organisations in Wellington, Greymouth, and Christchurch, plus the many others over my 22 years in Oz and 15 years working in the USA. The macro indicators are that NZ wages are among the lowest, the unpaid overtime is among the highest, the tax and red tape is relatively low, yet the per capita productivity is STILL far below your major trading partners. You're also rife with natural resources the world needs (food, timber, coal, etc.). The cause being management is also well supported by this article... > www.stuff.co.nz/business/5402631/Horrible-bosses-flush-staff-down-the-brain-drain Good luck, Carl _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.canterbury.ac.nz/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
