One other thing... heat. I recently resurrected a dead PC which had a layer of lint like you see in a tunble drier between the CPU fan and the heatsink.
It rain perfectly after that. But I agree it's probably memory. If you have Multiple banks, swap them around and see if it fails sooner. If it's oldish DIMMs, let me know the speed and I'll look in my cache for replacements... Is this related to your wifi problems?
