Ho ho. They wouldn't be _good_ emulators then, would they? Show me a
real terminal that claims compliance with ECMA-48 rev. 5.

This is only an issue if the sequence is intended to remain private. My
best attempt at the list you're looking for is at
<URL:http://vt100.net/ctrlseq_dec.html>, though it doesn't include the
VT500 series (it's taking ages to get the Programmer's Ref from Compaq).
