Hi freind,
As the booting option is get available through MBR,
and
when we install XP it will flush the GRUB entry from
MBR.
So, better you take a backup of MBR before
reinstalling XP
and after installing XP restore the MBR.
you can find the utility to make backup of MBR through
"http://mbr.bigr.net" site. the utility name is
MBRWizD.exe.
hope this will solve your problem and surely let us
know,
whatever solution you apply.
your freind

Sir,
I am running winXP + Mandrake Linux latest version.
I heard Linux supports Windows at booting time. but
windows do not
support Linux.
Means......,
if U install WIndows after Linux it will flush
off the Grub.U
will get NO choices on Boot menu & U have to reinstall
the Linux all
again.
Now the problem is.............
I m running XP + Linux & now wanna reinstall XP.
But It will Flush off the GRUB boot menu. & I will
unable to boot
Linux again.
How to cope up with that, so that I will not have to
reinstall linux
again.
I have windows on C drive & Linux on Separate
Unpatitioned Drive.
Please provide the solution as early as possible...
