1. Boot with any Linux rescue/startup disk
2. Mount your normal root partition and mount your normal boot
partition under that
3. chroot into wherever you've mounted your normal root partition
4. Run "grub-install /dev/<hard drive>" where <hard drive> is whatever
your primary hard drive is called. It might be /dev/hda. Mine
is /dev/sda
That should do it. I've done this more times than I can count, and it
works.
