I figured I'd give it one more try before attempting an install on my
old 40gb drive that I used to backup data (copying all the data is
going to take forever). This time, I attempted the install in text
mode and it managed to go through, although it seems to think that the
master boot record is on the 40gb drive, not the RAID, but I thought I
reconfigured it. Anyway, I try to boot it up and grub gives an Geom
error or something like that, and when I take off the 40gb drive it
gives a plain old Hard drive error. I believe Fedora is on there now,
although it's just Grub is messed up. I tried running the Fedora
Rescue, but it then claimed I didn't have Linux installed. I then
went to install Fedora Core again and without the 40gb drive in the
system, although when it attempts to begin the install, it says
something along the lines of: Unable to unmount cdrom drive, please
make sure tty2 isn't accessing it. So I go back and put my WinXP
cd-rom in and have it set to boot WinXP again (I'd like to have it set
to dual-boot, which I did successfully do in Gentoo). Am I right to
think that Grub is misconfigured, and if so, how do I fix it? I'll be
copying over the data tonight, so I'll have that 40gb free to use if I
ought to try that.

Thanks,
Marc
