Not a dumb question at all but I took it that as CDM used Freespire and XP I
though he would know to look at mute and sound setting in software. I
suggest putting a Music CD in and in Record Juicer that open make sure you
click the speaker icon and reset the sound there. Did you look at those
settings in Preferences ?
