I try out a lot of distros too. Right now I have Sidux, PCBSD, and
Zenwalk on
one hard drive and Windows XP on the other. I use GAG Bootloader. It's a
graphical bootloader and is easy to use. When I install a new distro I
just install
GRUB or LILO to the root partition and add a new item to the GAG menu. PCBSD
didn't even require a bootloader to be installed.

GAG also allows you to switch drive letters on your windows partition.
My Windows
XP is on the second hard drive on the computer but thinks it's on the
first drive and
works fine.
