Heh, don't get annoyed Roy, we're not knocking Ubuntu. Ubuntu and
Fedora have different purposes. Hardy Heron has bugs too.
On the other hand, they did, for example, a better job at making things
work in their alpha release than did Fedora.
However, they should. Again, their purpose is to replace Windows.
Fedora is, though it's often denied, a testbed for RedHat.
For a beginner, I'd be more inclined to recommend Ubuntu. Not because I
think Fedora is bad, but Ubuntu is aimed more at the beginner.
Another post gave several alternatives however.
