Wow--it's been so long that I don't even remember why I switched, or
what mutt offers that pine doesn't--I've simply forgotten what pine has. 

I think, that at the time, space and system resources were more
important than they are now, and that was a factor.


However, I once came across what I considered a very very wise line.  It
was in a mutt vs. pine discussion, and the author said something like
we'll all pull out all sorts of technical reasons to justify what is, in
the end, an emotional decision.  This could hold for O/S's, distros,
cars or whatever.  I just liked mutt better, and I'm sure that any
argument I made about why could be answered by pine does that too.  :)
