I'm intrigued. I have installed both distros on the same PC and partition
without any major difference in install time (Did you use the Live Mandriva
One CD or Mnadriva Free? There is more user input time on the Free version as
opposed to the One version). I cannot understand what would slow it down so
much.
Just to mention that I think Mandriva One uses the same installer as PCLOS..
it looks very similar anyway.
I personally prefer to install from boot as there is more user control, but I
can appreciate the benefits of Live install.
