I haven't used ipp, but it's probably the better way to go.  From Roy's
posts, it seems it works without problem these days.  (It didn't back in
the days when CUPS stood for Can't Usually Print Stuff, at least not
very well, so I used socket:// without issues.)  

So I would definitely try that one first.  If it doesn't work, then you
can use the socket:// one that I suggested.  Either way, please post
back and let us know the results.
