Hi everyone! I've been lurking for a while but an idea just hit me. Linux
is complicated so newbies are either going to need a good book on Linux or
a dedicated line to their local Linux guru's house. What are some good
books on Linux?
I know personally, I like the "In a Nutshell" series. Its just
gives you every command and every parameter to it. Great for a quick
reference, horrible for a beginner. I also like the "Unleashed" series,
but think that sometimes it gives TOO much info. And that's with me being
into Linux and messing with it in the early hours of morning just for fun.
I could imagine the reaction of the average users just wanting to get
their e-mail, internet surfing, or word processing.
