It was my impression when I subscribed to this list, that it is for
discussion of Linux Demo Day activities and planning.

Instead, it seems like general Linux conversation ("Best books"?) rather
than LDD topics. Have I stumbled on some kind of covert Linux Help Desk
here?

Can we please stay on topic, thus keeping the traffic manageable and
useful?

For general questions, try subscribing to the list of your local LUG or
USENET.

Also, when responding to messages, please try to prune the first message
to only include the points you are answering or commenting upon. Saves
bandwidth, and a lot of trouble seperating out the chaff.

Plus, I am sure our European friends who pay per-minute phone charges to
get email will thank you for keeping it on-topic and succinct..

Thanks,
Richard
