if it stops at LI, it means it is not able to finish the second stage of
loading.
Usually this is a hard disk geometry problem (i.e your physical and logical
structure doesnt match)
when ur in linux, do fdisk, and chk the partition table.
also, i suggest u read the exhaustive LILO HOWTO...it'll do u no end of
good!
