Dear All,
While installing linux RHL 6.2 I encountered a strange problem..
Machine has two HDDs one is 1.2 GB and other is 10GB.So I made 1.2 GB as
linux disk, keeping 32MB swap partition.Linux recognised this disk as /hdb.I
chose to write LILO on MBR. Also through BIOS i configured this disk as
primary master. when i restarted the machine, i could only see L of LILO
Boot and immediately the screen used to fill with 0s and 1s and i had to
restart the machine.I could boot in linux only with floppy disk .
How do i get LILO prompt so that i can boot in windows which is on other
disk (10GB) without adjusting BIOS everytime ?Is LILO.conf to be modified or
linux does it automatically ? and what might be the reason for the above
problem (0s & 1s) ?
