hi friends,
using wvdial i am not able to configure my modem. it does not detect my modem.
prviously i had used wvdial on my system and it was working fine.
the error message that it gives now is that
*no modem connected or some other program may be using the modem.
do not ask how this happened, since i do not know. i have used wvdial from the same
machine using the same modem to connect to the isp before.
during bootup i get a message that
ups daemon is started on /dev/ttyS0, this is where my modem is connected. could this
be the problem if so then how do i go about friends.
help needed immediately,
