Hi Guys,
Thanks for all the replies. The person in question is using SUSE 6.4 so I
think the kernel will be compatible. Another problem I thought of right now
is that the DSL modem is pnp. It does not need any computer to run. Right
now the Linux box is accessing the modem directly as a gateway. Now this is
possible because the modem has a static ip.
Now to pool 2 modems ....?
We also need somebody to setup a firewall for them so that we can then have
a proxy. Which will again result in some improvement but not much.
Sorry about this I should have thought about this earlier.
