If the installation is incomplete they cant bill you. Get a written
statement from them.
BTW what is was the problem. Not (directly) linux related but im sure
many on the list would be interested.
I had unsubscribed in writing and IOL CC even confirmed the same but the
records are not updated at MTNL. The QCS now says that until I deposit
the equipment at their exchange, I will keep getting billed. First he
was even surprised that I was getting billed as his records show
installation as incomplete. I will have to take the matter up with
higher authorities.
It does not boot up and keeps trying again and again. If by chance the
system is up, while watching the movie, the pic will keep freezing. Plus
MTNL and IOL do not have a proper coordination between them. It was
quite frustrating for our family to sit in front of the set and keep
watching only booting messages repeatedly.
