Famous last words. Nokia asked the same a while back, who is going to
buy XYZ China made phone?

The same 'China' companies are already shipping TVs with Androids. Ok, lets see how successful Canonical is in the desktop -- no top brand -- Dell, LG, Samsung, Lenovo ... or ASUS, ACER ship Ubuntu with their high-end PCs. System76 does which is unknown and extremely expensive.

A good 42 inch LCD costs upwards of Rs. 45,000. If someone can make
one costing half as much, I'm sure there will be takers - same way
there were for Micromax and Karbon and Lava and all such brands.

LCD is passe its time for LED/3D. Then where are the apps for Ubuntu TV? Ubuntu TV might end up with low end models or manufactures.

What I am saying is that looking at the past -- Ubuntu Music, and Ubuntu One, I am not very excited.
