The apps will come if "building the ecosystem" is carefully managed. I agree it all goes back to Canonical's ability to drive this business accurately. There is nothing wrong with ending up on low-end models - if those sell more, why not? Michael O'Leary built one of the most successful businesses in Europe today (and is the richest man in Ireland) selling "low end products" exclusively.
