you can get to all of the connections from the top of the machine just under the keyboard. use the instructions on replacing the second memory chip to get to those connectors the connections to the monitor are as follows: One DVI connection (surface mount connection) Two cables from the wireless card (PRI, AUX both surface mount with a hirose connector) 2 wires (-,+) for the back light i have never looked for the connector.
