I wasn't sure whether anything else needed recompiling or just libgig -- 
thanks for clearing that up.

Thanks also for the pointer about creating the configure script.

As mentioned earlier, sadly the updated libgig isn't working right for 
me. I hope the bug isn't too much of a headache to fix.
