I personally would up the RAM. Since your getting it for free thats a minimal expense. Probably less the $40. other then that its fine. The ACER does have a few let downs. Upgrading the RAM is not easy, some disassembly required rather then just a cover. Also the SSD drive is noted for being slow in this particular model. However it can be swapped as well. 8GB is fine for a PC to surf the web with. Email and etc. You can add storage to it. SD cards come in some pretty large sizes now.
